Silly Erin

Erin - 2 1/2 Years Old ~ Erin has been jabbering away lately.  I admit she's a little hard to understand sometimes, but for the most part we get what she's saying and it's cute as ever to have her communicating with us.  She has a lisp and her "K's" are switched with "T's."  The word "kitty" becomes...well, you get it.  She loves to talk on the pretend phone which is her hand most of the time.  Funny as heck.

Last weekend my brother Scott & his family came down to our place to go to the State Fair.  Rachel was in the lower level with Erin near the playroom when she told Erin, "It smells so good down here Erin."  Just then Erin came running out of the playroom pointing to the litter box and yelled, "There's poop in there!"

She's definitely growing up and going through her terrible two's.  She has quite the little personality and is very independent.  She's smart as a whip and catches onto things very quickly.  She's learning her letters, she sings the alphabet, counts to 12, spells her name and knows the color brown.  She calls is it "Bown."
She loves to sing "The Wheels on the Bus," "Bah Bah Black Sheep," "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," among others.  Her favorite things to do are:  watching Mickey Mouse Club House, Dora, Monsters Inc., Santa Paws or Toy Story on TV.  She loves to color & read books and pretend.  Her favorite food is Mac-N-Cheese & broccoli...but there isn't much she doesn't like.

We are still potty training with her.  She tells us when she has to go and likes to go by herself.  She gets a few M&Ms for a reward each time she goes.  Hopefully she will be done wearing Pull-Ups soon.

I call her Elyn sometimes.  She replies and says, "No mommy I'm Erin!"
