I do believe that my mom's house has some paranormal activity going on. You might think that this is bull crap...but when I was in high school I came home from school, unlocked the back door and saw two full body female apparitions standing in the entry way. I did not recognize them, they didn't say anything and quite frankly it scared the bejeezus out of me so I turned around and left the house.
I have seen another scary face at a different time and others have seen a lady in a reflection. We have had heavy crystal fly across the room and we have been touched in the middle of the night. Creepy, I know.
So, it was fitting that I attend last weekend's Paranormal Convention at the Shooting Star Casino with my ghostie friends, Christy, Roxie & Jess. Can you say GIRLS WEEKEND!
We were so excited to see all the people whose shows we follow on the Syfy Channel. We met Steve Gonsalves & Dave Tango from Ghost Hunters; Joe & Kris from Ghost Hunters International; John, Amy & Chris Zaffis from Haunted Collector; Rex Williams from Destination Truth; Kane Hodder who plays Jason from Friday the 13th; and the Midwest Paranormal Group out of Detroit Lakes, MN.
We got to hear and see evidence that Midwest Paranormal found from their investigation of the Kirkbride State Hospital in Fergus Falls. Two nights in a looney bin...oh my! They caught a voice on a recorder saying, "Get me out of here!" among many others.
We also heard more evidence from John Zaffis. Very, very interesting. Most of the other presenters did a Q&A Session, but it was still really awesome to hear their stories.
All of the presenters were very nice & super cool. Rex invited us to the bar after the show!! We all had so much fun! We can't wait to go back again next year!!
Kane Hodder who plays Jason from Friday the 13th. Can you tell I'm really scared? I had a scary face in my other picture with him, but it turned out too blurry. He was very nice, funny & extremely strong!!
