Last weekend we went back to Hoffman to participate in a fundraiser for a new hockey rink in the town. Brad's cousin Julie put together the fundraiser. There were blackjack and poker tables. Each person paid a $20 entry fee and then got a bag of chips to play with. At the end of the night, everyone could exchange their chips for tickets to put into the really cool prize drawings. Prizes ranged from a fish cooler, Hoffman Bucks, a subscription to the Hoffman newspaper, a wine basket, a gas grill & a flat screen tv. You received one ticket for each $20 in chips.
I did pretty well at the blackjack table and thought that I was going to win the flat screen tv for sure. I think that I put about 50 tickets into the flat screen tv drawing. My luck ended at the blackjack table...I didn't win the tv...I didn't win anything :(

Brad and his dad were busy as dealers for the night. Emmy stayed back with Grandma Debbie for the night.
